Yeah think i have, but i had more fun washing the Westcoast. Look how shiny she is.
The ride comfort is ace on the VTR compared to Westie..
Luke

Luke

:P
Well it ain't like a proper boot build. I am using my old VIBE Active Sub i had in Westcoast, girlfriends buying my a new Alpine Head Unit - One with tilt and slidetouch button, uprating all speakers and CD changer.
Will gain better sound than Westcoast anyway and still have boot space hehe!
James

I just got a new alpine unit, thought id lost my old one and then my dad brung it round and said he accidentlly took it in his bag. So now i have the new alpine headunit (that halfrauds are selling) and my old alpine head unit what i have no use for :)
Luke

Thanks Riggsy.
Suppose like any person, you will always miss your old car. A lot of time & effort went into that.

Think of my old 106 lad! Only sell my old cars to people I KNOW will look after them, hence the reason it now has 136.000 miles on it!

Sorry for the bump of the thread, just remembered i started it :P
Yeah deep down i know i have, i reckon the Westies clutch/gearbox would of gone within next 5 - 10,000 miles anyway.
I left all stickers on, so hopefully you may see the car back on here.

i reckon the Westies clutch/gearbox would of gone within next 5 - 10,000 miles anyway.
Cheers:P
Nah, course you made the right choice! You can't stop progress mate.
Of course you miss it, I'm gonna miss mine when she goes, but as long as you can see it went knowing you looked after it the best you could, then you can't ask for more than that.
NOW STOP BEING A TART AND REALISE WHAT YOU'VE GOT!
You lucky biatch.......:P

Il be honest, that saxo was passed it...
the wheels were buggered and it needed lowerin and it was the wrong shade of red...
new saxo is better, altho if it was wicked red it would be better
Luke
12th July 2006, 21:48
It was getting to the stage where it was past it, more things started to make noisys as the mileage piled up.
New VTR is ace, i do like the colour but even I admit it should be wicked red, a love that colour.
The westy was nice, but did need to be lowered, look to the future matey and have fun with the vtr.
Luke
12th July 2006, 21:59
Yeah agree with your comments Dan, i did have it planned but then accidently seen the VTR.
Think long term....the VTR will give me less trouble in the long run because of mileage and age plus it looks nicer.
Yates
12th July 2006, 22:12
your bird still after a vtr? should by mine you know what good condition its in...
Luke
13th July 2006, 16:29
No, shes got her new car sorted now mate.
Shame to see you VTR go, is because of the navy your selling up?
Yates
13th July 2006, 16:36
yeah it is, plus i just dont ever use it any more, about 1 week before my holiday it hit 31k on the clock, nearly 4 weeks after my holiday its only done 50 miles...
just a waste of garage space and sell all the stuff from it can make a tidy amount off that and they look to selling the car
