hi guys
just thought i would let you know that my saxo is nearly done.

in april i bought a saxo vts that had been written off and to try and get it back on the road. so it went to the jig shop to have it straighted out. then i have spent 2 months puting the engine back in and a whole new front end new door and new front bumper.
it has taken a long time. and it did fail the mot 2 times but today it passed and all the work me and my mate have done has paid off.
there were loads of problems with the work done by the jig shop and nearly ended up taking them to court but every thing is sorted now so bring on the spray shop and hope to meet some of you guys soon

What dedication! Lot of money for a write off though?

Think the extra was paid for the kit thats on it and the spray job. if it was a standard vts it would be alot less. Still once the cars done itll be worth more than a standard vts aswel so it all evens out. Definately top work and respect for bringing a Saxo back from the dead

James
11th July 2006, 13:04
Tis pricey indeed, and if your taking the spoiler of, do it before you spray your car... otherwise matching up the paint on that will be hard :P

I just took mine off, exactlly the same as yours. What front bumper you going for?... I cant see from the pic so ill ask here :P. What alloys is it on?

DarylVTR
11th July 2006, 13:10
who cares mate i do...... alot of people will like it alot will not but its your car so do what you like with it . A majority of sax-p members dont like kitted cars anyway so thats why ur not getting as good comments as you had hoped for about the spoiler. Its just different peoples tastes. Id say keep it

James
11th July 2006, 13:11

babers
11th July 2006, 13:24

DarylVTR
11th July 2006, 13:26

11th July 2006, 14:09
clouds looks a million timesbetter with out that spoiler imo

well done on getting it all up to scratch, not to my taste at all, but for all the hard work put in its a good job...

who ever said it will get more that a standard vts then your wrong big time! a saxo thats been wrote off and then had a kit and everything added will not get as much as a standard vts of the same year and milage

DarylVTR
11th July 2006, 14:13
