Are their better deals out there with reputable companies, (i heard three are ghey) that offer ok phones at the same time?

I had the n80, if you dont mind charging it everyday and have a good record with phones (ie. dont have a tendancy to drop them or stick them in your pocket with change/keys etc) then definatly go for the n80, i loved it.

The reason i sent it back though, is because the battery was utter shite, had to charge it everyday, + i went out one night, and the battery started off with 3bars, used it for a couple of pics (GREAT CAMERA!) went down to 2 bars, and at the end of the night when i went to book a cab, it ran out with no warning!.
+ i felt it was more a a chore to look after it as you cant change the covers if you scratch it, so i was putting too much effort into making sure i didnt damage/ scratch it, which i also didnt like.

im not trying to put you off or anything, if they improved the battery i would definatly get another one.

is it a general thing that the battery on them is crap? Did you do the proper 16hrs first charge?

I don't treat my phones with much care, so will probably use the insurance a bit if it breaks all the time!!

I was told just to charge it untill the batt was full, as the modern batterys dont need to be charged like the older ones did.
But yes it is a general thing that the battery life on them is shite, mainly because they phone has virtually everything on it, and the screen is VERY impressive.
I wasnt too sure on the build quality, it didnt feel as solid as it should for the money.

the contract seems good. ive got the n91 and the battery, like the n80 is shite. have to charge it every night.

its a great phone, but the battery life is so poor!
