Help!

Cannot seem to shut the drivers door unless it is shut very gently.

Wondering what is the common fault? The door does not seem to move up and down and does not appear to have dropped.

The catch on the chassis seems ok but the plastic piece seems rather worn.

Any ideas?

Thanks

mine does this particularly when its cold weather I think its something to do with the catch sticking, could try greasing it up or a new catch should sort it

probably your catch as said above stick a hell of a lot of grease then manually work the grease into the catch with your finger nad by pushing the catch in/out, should work a treat, does your catch on your actually dooor sit flush?

Yeah seems to sit flush when slowly shutting the door and looking into the gap.

Will try and obtain the parts - would imagine a new part would be costly?

Mine used to do this.. the door card was catching the seat.. so would 'bounce' back off and open.

I used to shut it ( still open abit ) then open window and pull it locked.

Stripped the bitch.. work's perfect =]
