fog light problem

cars going in for mot soon and just wondering if i could fix it to save myself some money, when checking to see if all my lights worked the other day when i flick the front fogs on it makes a weird sound like its giving off power to a motor of some sort:S and it also makes the left indicator light on the dash stay on dimly with no flashing and then i put my mainbeams on and this also made that stick on the dash too it is only when i put the fogs on it seems to be the front left fog as i when i pull the lights itself out everything stops and goes back to normal? :S and the other fog works like it should just wondering if it could be linked to anything i can check? i also have H.I.Ds if that makes a difference?

you may have crossed a wire somewhere or two wires are just touching. problems like these are usually found in the rear lights as the circuit can balls up and when the indicator flashes the rear lights come on dimly.


best bet is to check and recheck the wiring

Would make sense as we were messing with the rear lights to try and geta rear plate led thing to work as i have a smoothed boot=\
