If you where to sponsor the site, would it mean that youd get my orders right the first time i come into one of your stores? and not the sevenith time after ive had to fight back the tempation of smashing your employees faces in with their keyboards?

yeah, just a bit of a tough crowd!
My local euro's are useless at supplying the right parts, useless at getting things out within a decent time, useless with knowledge on what parts are what and knowing that waterpumps should come with gaskets and USLESS AT RETURNS. YOUR COMPANY OWES ME OVER £200!!!!

Interesting.
We are finding that having somebody on forums, answering questions, and helping to solve problems HELPS customer experience - We're not here to increase sales, we're here to try and fix issues!
It seems obvious that we're doing something wrong, as alot of you have had bad experiences, however we cant fix something unless we know its broken :)
We're willing to offer members, a long term discount, support on the forum, special offers and bulk buys.

+1 makes you look like a dick when you tell a customer his car will be done for a certain time and you clowns send the wrong stuff

I trust ECP about as much as I'd trust a skag head with my money.
Everytime I bought something from them, there has been something wrong/broken, resulting in more ballache to sort the problem.
Genuinely avoid you guys at all costs now.

Hi guys,
All i can speak for is the website, We sent out 800 - 1000 orders per day and have a 5% returns rate. - Those returns include customers who order the wrong parts, change their mind or have delivery issues, so a true 'incorrect parts sent' rate is about 3 in every 100 orders - We are still trying to improve this however!
Incase of branches with poor deliveries, Theymay have their own internal problems causing late deliveries - I'm giving you the opertunity to pass these on directly to ECP Head office who can look into these problems and improve your trade service.
regarding branches giving the wrong parts - We send out over 40,000 deliveries a day, so there are going to be errors, - Any parts company has this, ESPECIALLY on Peugeot/Citroens where there is often choices on parts. - We recently upgraded to our OWN customer made parts lookup which is more accurate that before, however no system (even OE) can be exact.
We're not interested in trying to sell you guys more parts, we have no problems there - We want to try and improve areas of our website - If you would rather complain between yourselves rather than us finding a solution to fix your problem, then you right, saxperience is the wrong place....

cat converter from ECP, fucked up twice within 3 months. Pain in the ass to get changed. Got a refund in the end. Thanks for the waste of time and added expense of having to pay for a car diagnostic.

Very tough crowd on here for your company Pat.
I dont think ECP realise what their reputation is actually like. It's good that you're coming onto car enthusiasts forums trying to help us but for most people it will be a case of 'too little, too late'.
Personally i'm never dealing with ECPs again after my bad experiences with them. I emailed a complaint about my local ECP to your headoffice explaining my frustration when the actual manager of my local store talked to my 61year old father like he was a piece of dirt.
I travelled 30mins to and from ECP 6 times in 6 days trying to get the right driveshaft for my Peugeot 106. I even took my old driveshaft with me to show them what it should look like. 6 times they got the order wrong. In the end i had to ask for a refund, on my way home on my 30 minute journey i stopped by my local A1 Motorstores, who got me the correct driveshaft within 1 hour.
They measured my broken one, counted the ABS teeth, the splines then pressed a few buttons on the computer, took 5 minutes to order it. ECP didn't do anything like that with my old driveshaft. ECP wasted a week of my time, a lot of petrol costs, and to top it off when we ask to speak to a manager he was rude to us with his zero customer complaint handling skills. How do these people get promoted :wall:
a true 'incorrect parts sent' rate is about 3 in every 100 orders - We are still trying to improve this however!
If your figures are correct i must of been very unlucky to get 6 incorrect parts in one week then.
I have in total had 7 parts off you, 6 have been the incorrect ones. So from my own personal view and experience if i was to use you again i would have my odds down as 1/7 chance of getting the correct working part.
We're not here to increase sales, we're here to try and fix issues!
Just lol.
I almost believed that, because i think you geniunely believe it yourself.
Your a business, your boss wouldn't of told you to come onto car forums gathering sponsorship, fix any problems, etc, out the good of his heart. He'll be a business man and know the forums provide a good base for free advertisement and increasing sales.
-----------------------------------------------------
On another note, atleast you now know where your company reputation stands, and i agree with you on 106/citroens having soo many different options for parts. Surely these can all be implemented onto a database though? Everytime theres a wrong order you could use that to update your computer system.
I accept that every business that sends out as many parts as you do are going to have problems and an odd mistake here and there... At end of the day we're only human. But just taking a look at this thread shouts out to me that the problem is larger than your headoffice understands. Definately doesn't seem like a small 3 in 100 issue from where i'm sat.
I hope none of my post offends you in anyway. This is saxperience though and as stated, it is a very tough crowd. Working with saxperience (correctly, like kam-racing, krisb etc) your business could increase alot of sales. Also you could improve the current negative reputation ECP have with quite a few customers on here.
If you would rather complain between yourselves rather than us finding a solution to fix your problem, then you right, saxperience is the wrong place....
If you really do want to gain sponsorship i wouldn't threaten to give up on us that easily. If your company upsets customers, then they are going to complain given any opportunity to do so, its human nature. Especially as we're in england and all we do is sip tea and complain about the weather.
I think having someone available to talk to on the forums would benefit your company and saxperience members. You could help to prevent any future wrong orders or quickly resolve any problems that may occur.
Its not us you need to talk to regarding sponsorship, its Simo or Scott using the 'contact us' page. Have a read of this article to know more about how to advertise with us.
