Hi,
I've a 2 door 2003 Saxo with manual windows.
The Window on the passenger door came away from the white locator stud that attaches it to the window regulator.
So I've been inside & reattached but now when I wind the window up & down it doesn't go up & down properly - it tilts to one side when windows up & down.

The front side of the glass (nearest to front of car) is correctly inserted in its runner inside the door.
The rear side of the glass (near door lock) doesn't appear to have any runner inside the door to guide it, so when the window is raised & lowered it doesn't have anything to keep in true & in line, so it drops Diagonally (if that makes sense)
This car has a chequered history, but the window did used to work. I'm baffled - its almost like there should be a runner to guide the glass on the rear (nr the lock) side of the door.

Am I missing something?

Best Regards

Phil B

I presume the window guides are the same for both leccy and manual, on rear of the window is there a hole cut out in glass??, mine did this and i found a plastic guide was missing from window, got another from citroen for about a £1 iirc,

im not too sure about manuals on saxos, but i know most manual windows have two hooks at the bottom of the window itself, which a wire cable hooks into to pull the window up/down, if this wire has come away from the hook at the back, then it would explain that end dropping... check another saxo to see if you are missing the runner, if its not that wind the window halfway down, take your doorcard off and have a look to check the cable is in both hooks (theres a guide in this months practical classics i think, if you need it)
