Competition Time (Forza 4)

Ok guys, 10 days to go until release so let's get a competition going!

Going to use the Ferrari 458 Rivals Mode for this. Simply add myself (L1QuiD) and set the fastest time you can before midnight Thursday. Being on my FL will allow me to see everyones times on the leaderboard together.

Winners will be chosen by the actual leaderboard. Prizes will be some pretty good cars within Forza 4 on release day (I'll post exact cars when I get in)

All driving aids are allowed, as are "dirty" and "clean" laps but remember, a clean time is always posted above a dirty time regardless of the actually time. (A clean 1min 50sec will be higher than a dirty 1min 40sec)

Finding it difficult to get a anything under a CLEAN 1.28 due to the AI still being completely oblivious to their surroundings.

Think i did a 1.27.2 unclean though

I think that's the point of the traffic! :p. Sets it apart from a clear hot lap innit.

Mine said it was a 'dirty' lap. But I know it wasn't.. I might have scraped past one car, I mean barely touched it if that constitues dirty, I think I used 1 rewind to, don't know if that counts, and I may have clipped one of the red & white corners to much diving down the inside of some traffic. But the main thing I can think of is that sweeping corner with the huge run of which I ran wide on.. You have to go round the outside as the AI always seems to be on the inside and I can't go quick enough to beat them there or squeeze down the inside.. But if anything.. Going really, really wide onto the run-off is gonna make me slower so it wasn't really a 'dirty' lap.. It was slower if anything! If you saw the replay you'd know what I mean and I don't think you could call it dirty.

Some of mine have been classed as dirty laps, where i have run a tiny bit wide into a run off because of a fuckin vw fox overtaking a fiesta or some shit.. slow cars over taking other slow cars on the inside of corners is whats pissing me off! proper ruins a laptime.

Just done a fairly alright time in the bmw race though. Beat everyone on my friends list anyway lol

Drafting shouldn't make it a lap dirty, doesn't happen in real racing so it shouldn't make a difference. It annoys me lol

I agree with the uncertified times as it means you have to stay on track not cutting corners no taking extra wide entry etc also you can use the cars to deflect you keeping you on a tight line for the bend etc. and also if you fuck up in the last 3 bends or so before the next lap the next lap continues on to be a dirty lap.

Oh and jay you checked the zonda times lately? ;)

I find the car seams to slide more that GT5 and it's annoying using the triggers as I usually use the buttons :S
