hi all, just looking some advice from you peeps if you can help, just replaced the driveshaft after thinking this was my problem, turns out it isnt. i have found a vid on youtube with a vtr make'n the same noise as my vts. would someone take a listen and kindly help me out as its doing my head in

it doesnt happen when i am building up speed, only when i take the power off. also when am turning at low speed i can hear a squeek

I had the exact same noise, check your C.V Joints for wear and splits on the rubber boots. Or your ball joints.

As said, check over c.v joints but sounds like a wheel bearing,

Thanks for the replys people, turns out its the intermediate bearing in the shaft. Just had the drivers side fixed too, now the passenger side is fooked. At least i know what it is. Thanks again people your help is very much appreciated!!

Mine are both fudged two, the gaitors have both split and I can't see a way of repairing it, so it looks like two new drive shafts for me :/

i got my drive shafts on line thinks they wer called j&r bearings, around 50 quid with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty.
