I suppose there will be BR drives in next gen apple products, it's not like they have a choice or the luxury to give some attitude now. Same will apply with microsoft and their Xbox. Long awaited revenge(25+ years-see betamax) from Sony tbh.

The Sculley interview contains - among other things - another gem: Steve Jobs was in love with Sony. Sony's products, Sony's factories, the clothes the workers wore, everything - Jobs loved it. Sony's CEO gave Sculley and Jobs the first Walkman and tours of the factories that made them, and all this impressed Jobs a great deal.

Signing up to fight for your country and dying as a result of it is one thing, being a pioneer of so many things that have shaped so many industries and dying of cancer is another and imo worth a thread.

Most soldiers are well educated and have atleast A levels, many with degrees. In my troop we had a guy who had a PHD in quantum physics, im sure he could of got a well paid job elsewhere too.. Just because it's a career that people want to do, doesn't mean can't get a well paid job elsewhere..

People sign up to the army for many different reasons. It may be that they've always wanted to do, it's in their family, they have no life or they wanted to show off to their mates... The list goes on.
