when i accelerate there is a ticking noise coming from the engine, i thought it would be the tappets but after sorting them the noise is still there, what could it be and is it a problem?

Could be many things, I'd imagine it would be a problem if there's an unusual ticking from the engine. Can you post a video at all?

i haven't got a cable so cant upload things, whats the most common problem it could be?

After that fail lol, could be a noisy injector.
