Just got some VTR alloys for a bargin £25, however they need a serious refub got bubbling paint, already flaked in places. and there's a serious curbing on one of them which has ground the rim a good way back. if someone has the time and can be bothered with the effort could ya, tell me what i need to do to get them back to their former glory also what id need to use. oh and im powder coating them black aswel. please someone ;)

though, if you're looking to powder coat them, you'll only need the first part of the thread, though give them a go with rattle cans first, I've seen some good results that way ;)

If your going to powder coat them you cant do anything yourself unless you can build the curbed bit up with ally weld and grind them back to the shape. Powder coat needs clean bare metal finish to stick to so you cant use filler or chemical metal.
