has anyone found some good hid bulbs with a good beam pattern?

As far as I'm aware, the bulb doesn't do much for the pattern - Your housing does that for you.

Basically, HID's in reflectors = crap beam pattern, blinding on-coming drivers. UNLESS you use custom made glare shields like I do to try and control the beam.

HID's in projector headlights give that clean cut-off pattern, and they're the best way to go..

Ahh see I've got angel eyes so there in a projector lense but my old hid had a shocking pattern and need less to say they shorted out and melted lol
