Quick question; On suspension descriptions 1.4's need different kits to VT models, but Westys are basically VT models with smaller engines and rear drums, even though they are 1.4's, so i need a VT suspension kit yes?

me and my mate went into get our saxos lowered at the same time and vtr was £20 cheaper than the furio for some reason. i know that the vtr/vts is ever so slightly lower that the 1.1/1.4 models. best bet is do what i did and take it to a place who does lowering and they will put the correct kit on at that time.just remeber that you will only need front springs as the back has a torsion bar.

No, I think you need the 1.4 kit...
Its all about the weight of the engine if I remember correctly...

Oh rigth cheers lads. I think I'm gonna go for a Spax 40mm kit. I dont want my rear end to bottom out and theres no point buying Koni etc as its only a Westy so I dont need at for track days etc, but on the otherhand I dont want springs so my ride is crud.

mine was dropped 40mm on spax. looks good and you can fly into corners.

Yeah I'm thinkin of gettin a VSX kit. Which kit did you have? VSX or PSX? Is the PSX worth the money on a Westy?
