just got my strut brace through and it isnt a direct fit! need to relocate my "big red button" the fuel cut off or reset whatever it is!? but how do i relocate it and where to?

any help appreciated, rep available, ta

send it back and get a direct fit is your best bet

Theres a little bracket with a hole just below the top of the strut.

Relocate there. I would get pics but have not got any handy!

yeah move it to the bottom hole that is what i did on greame's car.

thats where it is mate? just on the left hand side of the right strut top? im going to take it off now and have a good look. it is ok to take off aint it? lol

not too far from where it is now matey, right next to it just undo it and move it using the same bracket

dont panic its easy lots of people have to do this

Luke and I did mine the other day. there's 2 small nuts you have to loosen. When the switch is free cable tie it to the loop on the suspension strut. You'll know what I mean. Don't do what I did and press the button (At least We think I did.......?)

Easy peasy.

pressing the red button would be to reset the fuel cut off:P pressing it wont do any harm :)

right run into a little problem. how the heck do i loosen the nut at the back? theres absolutely no room to get a spanner in?! :( ill try and get a picture up in a minute if needed
