Hi guys, new guy so excuse my idiocy (I am normally not very bright). I have a 2006 VTR, Fan suddenly decided NOT to switch off, keeps on running. I unplugged it to not let the battery go dead on me. Though, on the Fuse Box under the Bonnet, there is a cable (part of the harnass) with a relay that keeps clicking. Why would the fan not stop and why the ongoing clicking (Marked PPT20 on fuse box).

Thank you very much... :wall:

Ahaaaaaa, I stand corrected

Urm, the problem could be your thermostat?

your fan will run sometimes till the cars cooled down even after its switched off. a faulty relay maybe? of fan motor ?

Thermostat faulty, changed it. Changed fan relay, still persists. The coolant sensor on the top part of the Thermonstat Housing is faulty, giving me all sorts of problems. Though will change it and see if it works. Seemingly the ECU is faulty too, partly bacause the Diagnostics gave me 21 engine control faults, though I think our South African Auto Electricians are somewhat dimwitted (like myself that is). I'd rather fit new goodies myself, reset the ECU and see what pops up again. See, they fiddled and fitted and never resetted anything... Anyway, thanks for the help guys.
