just had a lesson... hmmm wasnt too good.. 1st i had this stoopid idiiot kick a ball at the car.. then was driving past a building site in town and a huge peice of plastic fell infront of the car... didnt no what to do :(

i just realised how much i hate it.

Don't worry about it I had a mare yesterday just going to sheffield.

Went for the big run up onto the M1 from meadowhall and forgot it goes into 1 lane at the top before the Motorway and I had to break harshly and took in infront of someone who had to break aslo. Not the smartest thing I've done, but I forgot. :innocent:

And then when in worksop, I pulled out onto a roundabout, which the last time I looked the car coming was indicating to go off the carage way we came off, I pulled out and he was inches away from my backend, beeping and swearing. Shook me up, but the bellend indicated for the wrong turning.

Just shows how careful you have to be, 1st time its happened in 5/6 months of driving.

But hell I still love it. :A:

I have loads of stories of my mates on driving tests.....takes me back to day all 3 years ago....

One instructor fell asleep on my mates test and had to pass him.....another one of my mates failed before he started the engine because he beeped the horn at the instructor who was talking to a work collegue

i fuked up 2 nights ago but it was only 2nd day after pasing test. i was ona dual carrigeway and i was in the wrong lane so i had to cut across 3 lanes of traffic and can you imagaine how many people hooted me. you just have to stay calm and look around you

There's more to driving a car safely and responsibly than simply knowing how to operate the controls. Life is full of unexpected surprises. That's the reason you have driving lessons, so that you can learn how to handle situations like these.

Don't let it put you off. You're there to learn. Hopefully now you know what to do when something falls in front of you (for example).

Try to look at the positives. Who knows... Perhaps something may fall in front of you on your test and you'll have the experience to deal with it and pass!
