Right guys n gals i need a new gaming headset after i some how managed to snap mine in half last night (dont ask) ive got the mcdonalds drive through style microsoft 1 but its crap at the best of times lol i want some thing with good sound quality at a sensible price (preferably sub £30) but most of all they must be super comfy as my old set gave me bad ear ache after around 60 mins of play (the reason they now reside in the bin in 2 pieces) ;) so what headsets do you guys use and how do you rate them????
cheers for any advice input

And they are awesome, you can really tell the difference when playing COD, they also make good headphones for watching film on the laptop.

I also have turtle beach earforce x11's and really like them at first i didn't have the sound coming through but now i do and it's so much clearer. Great headphones but they're usually out of stock in game shops as there so popular.

They interrupt the input for the normal tv and then take the sound(5.1) from that into the headphones, then you have the mic what plugs into the controller.
(not sure if that makes sence, does in my head)
They also need to e plugged in to work, so there is a usb that will plug into the xbox.

it's simple don't worry.
it does help a lot having the tv sound through your headset, you'll be surprised how much it helps

Turtle beaches play 5.1 sound through the headset, and also you hear chat through them.. Really good bit of kit, on games like call of duty, and battlefield, you can really tell which direction gun fire is coming from, rather than just getting hit and not really knowing..
Really good for hearing people running aswell, and the newer ones, will play chat sounds quiet if there is sound going on in the game that you will need to hear..
