omg etc. Totally living up to my expectations so far. Feels much better than BFBC2.

Maps seem really good, no issues with lag as yet :)

Visuals are excellent, and what Ive played of the campaign so far is tremendous.

My only gripe? Everyone keeps fucking off in the vehicles without me.

Best thing? You can use lock on missiles on heli's in this, instead of having to fire a stupid magnetic dart into them as they spin in a circle of death!

Hard to say, not tried MW3! But I used to REALLY love CoD, then played battlefield and thought the whole experience was better. MW3 doesnt really seem to be bringing anything new to its game (though kill confirmed play type will stop camping a wee bit).

I was concerned about snipers lying prone in BF3, but a lot of people know about marking up targets, so Ive already knifed a sniper in the back of the loaf!

Played with a load of guys earlier who played totally tactically and just dominated the game start to finish. So much better (imo) than the run and gun (or run and quickscope) of CoD.

meant to say, with the snipers hiding as well, you get lens glare off their scope, so it makes them a bit easier to spot.

And cunts cant hide in flames anymore, the flames fuck you up :)

Theres a shop in Glasgow always releases games early. As soon as they do, the Gamestation a few doors down sells it as well :)

Without the 2nd CD, the game is classed a SD. Its not actually HD until you install it.

For the sake of installing a disc, does it matter?

There's a side by side comparison of PC, PS3 and Xbox360. You can tell that the PC has better graphics BUT the Xbox and PS look identical!

Very rare but ask yourself this, how many games with this kind of gaming engine etc... has maps so big?

well yeah, i'm fortunate to have both consoles and appreciate the pros and cons of each machine but multiple disks is a pretty big con imo, LA Noire was on 3 disks apparently ?! fuck that lol

There is no 2nd graphics disc, & yes I installed the HD download 1.5 GB

You get 2 discs 1 is multiplayer & 1 is campaign

The graphics are a big let down

I know, that's what i was saying.. Proper HD and 60FPS+ only achievable on a PC :geek:.

fair to say that EA have the biggest fan base of people playing online, fifa, battlefield, all that sort of thing.. you would think they would antisipate it, and boost servers, or get more to make it so they are never over loaded...

People are sueing RIM for BBM going down, EA will get fucked before long

You must be playing on a portable tv, graphics are not HD

PC version is tuned upto 10, Xbox detuned to 5

After an hour or so of issues this morning, played for 3 hours online without a hitch. Just very occasional lag.

I'll be on from 5pm but I am havig an early night tonight!

Pre-ordered it from Game, and it came yesterday morning. Only played 45 mins of single player but its seems pretty awesome, especially when you get the surround sound going!

Loving multiplayer, tried playing normal mode for a bit but couldnt hack it, so straight back on hardcore mode! Its even better now ive actually got some decent scopes instead of having to aim down the bloody iron sights! :y:
