hiya all not long had my vtr but i seem to be putting £10 every two days lol i put 15 in it didnt even take me out of the red is this rite of there something wrong with the sender unit?

15 is about what, just about 2 gallons? Unless youre on the edge of the tank it should give you between a quarter and empty. 10 in mine takes it to the edge of the "light".

i just put ten quid in my car on the way home and i was on the red for 20miles, now its on just under a quarter of a tank, could be a faulty sender unit, put 30 quid in and see where it ends up, if it doesnt go atleast between a quarter and a half then your sender must be faulty :y:

i was parked on a flat road i think the sender unit is buggered going to try a new one monday.

i can get mine to show a full tank sometimes, with bugger all in it. kill the ign on a descend then bump it ;)
