In the old forum one could rename the ACTUAL thread title if things changed, for instance.........

MR.BLOGG' SAXO

If Mr. Bloggs added a Decat Magnex system, on the old forum you could rename the thread..........

MR.BLOGG' SAXO.......DECAT MAGNEX SYSTEM ADDED!

But on this forum you can't.

Can you work your magic please Simo:thumbup:

i would like to see this back aswell, even if it was just in the photos section, for people with progress threads

Simo did mention this when the new forum was launched. It was becoming a bit of a pain when members were able to go back and edit their posts especially if that member changed their mind about something. But yes... members used to edit the topic titles with their new modification(s). Why not just post on the bottom of your existing thread?

ive got my car for sale, before there were no pictures now there is, so i wanted to edit it so it said pics now added but i cant...

I dont see the problem if people want to change there threads and edit what they have said if they have changed there mind...

In the current version of forum software this option is not possible. Sorry.

Soon, an update will be made and hopefully then this can be looked at.

Are us mods able to do this?

OK, Ive come up with a compromise...

Post titles can now be edited for the first 999999 minutes since the topic was started :P

Not pretty, but it will work.

This will be trialled and if abused, will be removed again.
