think there is a flywheel locking hole 8mm drill bit at the front of the engine.
if you aint sure if the crank is 180 degrees out take out number 1 spark plug and stick a long screwdriver in the hole to rest on the piston turn the crank forward and back a few degrees the piston should be at the top of its travel at tdc and you should be able to find the locking holes, if not your 180 degrees out
if this is wrong please feel free to take the pee out of me ;)

Have you put back in the hall effect sensor? Otherwise known as the crank position sensor.

Help, found out the cams were in the wrong way round so swapped them & car fired up but sounded rough as f**k. The car ran for about 2 hours then cut out again like it did when the cam belt snapped, checked cambelt all is fine, could there have been any damage to the valves when the cams were in the wrong way round ???
