Ok, if i had 3 centre sections, all straight through pipes, different manufactures. Would they all sound the same or differ? I cant see why they'd sound different because they all do the same thing..

im guessing they might sound a little different
stainless steel, mild steel etc

They'd differ based on the internal dimensions and the type of silencing method employed.

Would just be straight through, Cat is in the manifold. Might look into it.

It would also depend on the backbox, too.

If your going to base it on using the same mani and back box then as mentioned in post 2 the only thing that might change the note between them is what size bore it is and what it's made from

I used a centre section of a mk2 saxo diesel, with aftermarket backbox, sounded good :y:
