i have a 98 mk1 vtr (black top) when i first start it and the temperature is cold it struggles to pull away. when the temperature gauge reads half way it drives fine but stuters on 3.5k -5k rpm
ive changed the plugs leads look new so does the coilpack
water isnt mixing with oil but it smokes alot on startup from cold
i have also tried another lambda sensor

My car was missing every now and then till one day it was spluttering and stalling, had a go at a few different sensors, turned out to be map sensor, the one on the inlet mani, couldn't believe it, only £30 from gsf,
