VT kit clips.

Can anyone shed any light/diagrams to which clips I will need for each panel of a VT kit and how many?

Yeah you have the plastic ones, there is also a few metal clips as well.

Go to Citroen for the clips tho 12p each plus vat i got a bag of 50 for £7.20

As for how many you'll need i think its something like this

Front arch 6
Door trim 10
Rear arch 9 (i think can't remember to be sure)
Sill skirt 11

Total 72 ish depending on rear arches, but if you go to Citroen they can tell you exactly how many you need

Are you definitely sure? Only I've been told that the side skirts use different clips and are more expensive?

My side skirts are held on with them, there is a different clip underneath with a torx screw thinking about it but only one type of plastic clip.

No all of my clips are the same as the ones knight-22 has linked but came from citroen directly, the majority of the old clips did look like the ones your looking at tho

Ahh I see. Well I'm gonna be bonding the stupid kit on aswell so want some clips to just 'guide' the panel to exactly where it needs to be bonded, fed up of shite French clips rattling and snapping loose!

ive done the same mate i bought a pack of 10 off ebay today for £2.20 as my front arch is on its last legs. Think ive bought interior ones by accident lol.. they look the same though =/

As i said in earlier posts there are two types of clip

But they are cheaper at a citroen/peugeot dealer than on ebay!!!!

The original clips were different but they made new styles ones because they kept breaking (according to the parts guy near me) when i asked him why the clips he gave me were different.

Can someone confirm that these are the correct clips for hold the vt kit to the car through the holes that are drilled along the middle of the body panels.

Yeah thats the ones, metal clips? there's metal clips on the vt kit that these attach to :y:
