thats a really good price imo, i would want atleast £120 and you supplied the beam cause i'd do it at hoem and it's a ball ach to do on axel stands. and the brake pipes would probs need replacing. due to seizure

don't undo the brake pipes, just unbolt everything and tie the calipers out of the way lol, makes life sooooo much easier and turns it into an hours job

What do you do if the pipes from under the car into the beam itself are fucked? I had to run new brake pipes because of this unless theres an easier way?

i'd need my air tools mate to get it done quickley, honestly have a go yourself it's not as bad as you may think, all you need is a socket set, smallers and s few cable ties and a jack.
mandyslover ment the copper/steel pipes from body to axel mine were fubar so had to replace them :(.

£100-125 + £75 fitting is quite good -jay-,
I'm having mine done at Jason's although i'm thinking of just buying a beam off Jason & having a crack off it myself just for the experience, no doubt i'll fail though haha..you should come down, haven't seen you in a while.
Also Jason does that £200-25 include lowering?

Ye i know man, that was a long time ago though ha.
I'm quite confident with my car and mechanics now, been practising on the S (silver one) like taking things off then back on then back off to sell, look..
Not the most recent pics but its completely stripped apart from steering rack, PAS pump and rear beamand a few other little bits (not important.)

Come to think of it i'm actually not that sure you know..
I just dropped my key of at Jason's last night and that was it,
He did mention that it might just be the bushes/bearings one of the two IIRC, but all i know is that the beam on it is fucked! It clangs about left and right and according to the mot if i can recall theirs excessive play in both bushs..
It'll be nice to get a re-conditioned beam as it'll sell a bit quicker, but either way i'm not fussed as i've already paid so just going to let Jason work his magic haha.
Aren't you going down there?
