My interior light has suddenly gone really dim and flickers, it's randomly started doing it. Any ideas why?
Also just replaced my headunit and it turns on everytime i switch the ignition which is starting to bug me.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Mike

My interior light done the same thing but my sunroof was leaking. All I don't was made sure it was dry and replaced the bulb.

Cheers for reply.

I did put my hand in but all seemed dry, or at least dry at the moment.

Could it just be the bulb? Wouldn't it just blow all together?

Will do, cheers mate

When i fitted the last HU i had to switch 2 wires because it kept forgetting settings and stations when i turn the ignition off, could they need switching back?

Have a look in the FAQ`S stereo section I think it explains a common mistake made when fitting steroe`s in saxo`s.:drink:

Yea, that's what i read when i fitted the previous one, thinking that it might need switching back now.

Will have a check in the morning.

Thanks again.

Mine flickered a lot then I took the bulb out and it was starting to go black so I guess it would solve it :)

All my lights went dim when I hit a low note with my sub or when I put on my xenons, doing the 'big 3' conversion sorted it out

Big 3 conversion?
I got sub, not sure that's the problem with mine as its only interior light.
Going to replace bulb and hope its just that.
Cheers for replys, any suggestions on head unit problem?

try swapping the wires and check for frayed wires

The big 3 conversion is basically 3 bits of 4awg wiring going from the alt to the battery positive and the others being the earths.

I dont undestand the HU problem, On the HU you need to swap the red and yellow wires around to make it remember the settings,

Cheers, will give that a shot. The wires are swapped, it remembers settings, but if its turned off when the ignitions on, I turn ignition off. Then it comes on again next time I start up. Not a massive issue just annoying.
