Hi all,

Looking for some help and have had a look through the threads but have my own questions to ask.

I would like to start to build my self up. My main aims would be strength and size. I am currently 6ft 2 and I am only 11 stone 6. Rather skinny but I am the kind of person who could eat a horse and I don't put on weight.

I would like some info on what kind of diet would be good for me to help me bulk up a good bit. Also what training would help me.

I am new to all this so go easy on me lol

Thanks in advance,

Craig

Breakfast - Oats, banana etc

Get some decent meat inside of you, steak & potatoes would be a good

Cut out the crap food, drink lots of water start lifting. Plenty of diet plans and tips around the internet and on here :)

I'm 6ft 5 and would probably be around your weight if I hadn't started 2 years ago, I'm now just on 15 stone :chinese:

My dad's got instant oats from my protein so will steal some of his. Lol

Just now I work from 8 till half 3 with a break at 11.30 and 2pm so what would I be looking at eating at these times.

And would it be worth using a weight gainer such as mass system muscle and size ? And is that any good ?

I know people put oats in protein shakes but will they do any good in a weight gainer too ?

Cheers,

Craig

As the lads said but growing is all about a calorie 'Surplus' Which means your output is less than your input, So a good baseline for a first time bulk would be say, 3000 calories, Solid complex carbs, A ratio of 2:1 to protein with good fats mixed in, Advocado, Olive oil on salad etc, Make sure you're drinking enough water and getting enough fibre to make sure you're digesting the food and getting the most nutrients out of those complex foods, Eat every 2.5 - 3hours, Keeping that Blood sugar stable mate, Dont be spiking insulin late in the day or anytime except for post workout (Following workout).

Wholegrain is calorie dense to make those healthy calories up to 3000, Easy when you get the hang of it and adjust your macro's to what suits you.

Hope this helps!

Sounds quite confusing to work out exactly what I will need to eat and working out what has the right amount of calories and stuff. Lol

Suppose it will just take a bit of getting used to.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass but any idea of what kinda diet plan would suite me.

Just maybe an example of what you lot eat and when lol
