Saxo won't hesitates when turning off!

Hey guys,

This just started happening the other day, It's been smoking and running very rich for a while now(stinks of petrol,crap fuel economy) and now when I turn the ignition off sometimes it keeps running for a few seconds :S

Any ideas what this could be guys?

mine has been doing this i got a feeling its a coil pack issue as i had a mechanic look at it and mine is playing up when im driving to

Don`t know about saxo engines but other cars i`ve had this has been caused by a hot spot in the engine.It`s an excess build up of carbon which is enough to make the spark plugs carry on sparking after the ignition is turned off.Try an oil flush in your engine oil then drain & refill with fresh oil.
