Power steering fail?

My power steering on my furio is driving me mad sometimes it works and if you turn the ignition off and on it doesnt, its got enough fluid so im confused as what it could be, any ideas ?????

i had this problem on my vts, check that its in the bracket correctly as mine wasnt and the live wire going to the pump was cut and the core of the wire connecting with the bracket which i suspect is why it sometimes didnt work, since re seating it in the bracket it has worked everytime i start the car. hope this helps

I have the same problem on my vts. I changed the relay at the end of last winter and that didn't solve the problem but as the warm weather came, its never faulted all through the summer. Now it getting cold again its started to play up again. It doesnt work until the engine bay is warm, then its fine. Makes me wonder if theres any water contamination in the pump or fluid???

Im gonna change the fluid and see if this helps. Anyone else had the same problem and found that this sorted it??????
