Hi guys,
I've just bought a cheap runabout MK1 (I think - 1999) Saxo 1.5 diesel. It's a bit of a shed (had the wrong brake pads in, warped discs, a stripped thread on a rear drum, 1 rear speaker was replaced with one that lights up but it was mounted in a curved panel next to the rear seat with 1 self tapper. no joke.) Luckily they'd kept on top of the important things though, it has MAX Power seat covers. :)
I'm a biker and thought I'd buy it just to get me through winter but I actually like it. I wasn't interested in Saxos to be honest because of all the ones badly modded by kids but driving this one reminds me of a Pug 205 and I'm quite a fan of them. I didn't expect it to lift-off oversteer as easily as it does. Just a shame it most corners are wasted coz it's never built up enough speed for them. :)
I think I may be on the lookout for another Saxo after this. I'm sure I'll be nagging you all for advice
