Are MW3 servers dodgy today or is it my connection??

my connections been lagging since this morning, started on special ops with my mate and it was unplayable with the lag, tries multiplayer and i couldnt even get signed into that, i tried campaign just to see if it was my xbox lagging away or playing up but it was fine. I try again about half hour ago, it started off ok, with little lag then gets seriously laggy again. My PC connection is fine, on the local area connection in network connections its saying Bytes: Sent 1,983,574 Recieved 13,173,550

I'm no expert but i'm guessing thats more than enough to be able to have smooth online play with no lag, thats why i wondered if the servers was a little dodgy as there'd be many people online today. Anyone else had problems?

As John said, huge number of people are logging on today for the first time so it's going to be over-busy for a bit.

hmm but noone else is having the problem, i was playing for about 15 mins it was fine then signal suddenly drops and its lagging again, now my connection has gone to 220,306 to 1,703,482 Must be my connection
