i've just bought a digi cam, not great, but it'l do me,

it's a Fuji FinePix A120

So if anyone has any hints/tips to help me get the best out of it, they'd be much apreciated :star:

get a tripod, gives you much more freedom with the type of pics you can take :Y:

good pics :)

avoid flash with macro function unless the lumiousity of the flash can be altered (which i've never seen on a standard digital)

Read the instruction book thoroughly, you'll find some of the more nifty features that arent so apparent just from using the camera.

Play about with all the settings, see what the outcome is and whether or not you can use that particular setting or adjustment to your advantage.

No problem at all mate, it would be pointless to not share info and all that stuff :)
good luck dude... I love shooting photo's (especially as they serve as a reminder to the bits you cant remember on a phat night out :cool:).

Have fun and dish out some pics when happy with them :Y:

now they're pretty sweet. Mine usually come out over exposed with the flash on. good stuff man :Y:
