Sparks ;) If its never been serviced then you'll probs really notice the difference if you do the sparks :) Sounds like a good, fuel efficient little car though mate :)

Go to euro car parts website, type in your reg and find the parts you need, spark plugs are fairly cheap depending on what ones you want :) Bosch ones are probably around £7 for the 4.

And for insurance, theres no such thing as decent lol best to go on your parents policy :y:

I had a chat on the phone with many insurance companies when I came to insuring my 1.1i at 18. I had had my license for 1 year already, but no driving. And, they took I think £1120 or something like that for 12 months insurance. I went with admiral. Two named drivers on the policy (with good driving histories!!) and that got it down to that. Best I could get. It was then £1060 this year as though I had 1 year NCB I upgraded to the 1.6 VTR. lol. :)

Sparks will just make a slight difference, unless the old ones are gone. But, if it hasn't been serviced in ages then it should run sweeter. Oil and air filter change will probs do it good too so yeah just service it. Its ready for one at 63000 if it hasn't had one before!! lol. Brake fluid also good to sort. Won't cost too much mate, just time. Get a manual ;) !!

Good luck with it :)
