Hi i currently have a Alpine head unit the 9812rb which is 4x60w, i have my infinity components running from that.

I have a problem though as the wiring to my passenger side doesnt work (as my speaker isnt working).

Do i run a new set of cables from the doors to an amp, or re wire to the head unit?

If rewire to the head unit how do i go about doing this as the wires are all in an iso yeh?

have you checked that the speaker is not at fault?
have you checked the plug connection that connects in the door jam.
you can re wire them but I would amp them, but thats just me
if you can get hold of a voltage tester check your wires between each connection to see if theres a break or a connection at fault

if you have to rewire the headunit, i personally would run wires and amp them as infinity are good make, and they could be well worth amping, you will find the quality will be alot better awell coming form the amp rather than runing of the headunit.

yeh i know what you mean about the amp, i will take the door apart at the weekend and check the power to the wires (or not!) wht are you saying about the loom into the door? how could this have moved? is it like screwed on is it?

have you had the car from brand new? if not you don't know if previous owner undid them for what ever reason and didn't tightin it back up proply,
also you might go to all that trouble of rewiring then find out it was the connection
