I want to de-cat my car but, don't want to spend few hundred on a manifold and later find out its too loud etc. So I want to try a mk1 mani without the cat in on my mk2 engine.
My cars a 8v 2002 engine so will any mk1 8v mani fit it and is it reccomended for short term use?

any mk1 manifold will fit but you'll need to move the oil filter iirc
