how can we tell you how much someones mates rates are gunna be?! lol :p
citroen charge a lot for labour, so i wouldnt be surprised if his mates rates were normal garage price..

Tbh at a garage it will cost sooo much as they will replace everything. Example as furio has drum beam and S disks they will say to change that. Your looking £200 + just for that on its own, if they got to splice the loom that will be shit loads also they prob wont know where your immobliser is because they think it part of ecu, try start it and lock ecu. Tbh if you can get it done "cheap" from your mate still looking at a bill £700 +, is it worth it? Up to you though.

A local Jap car specialists garage (do a lot of tuning on Jap cars but also work on other cars) quoted me £250 for a VTS conversion from a VTR if I supplied all parts needed.

I've got a reciept for a vts conversion on a vtr at pug1off for over £1500 in the service history of one of my saxos lol. Can't believe some people would pay that for half a days work lol.
So you're looking at between £200 (mates rates) to £2000 (professional job).
Stuff like oil, coolant, belts, water pump, etc all add up tbh, i'd budget around £250 for labour off a mate mechanic, then your parts on top of that.. £300 for conversion with box, £100 for random bits and bobs.

we charge 250 labour if everything is supplied, its just a ball ache when you get supplied with wrong parts!

that includes fitting cambelt/water pump/oil and filter etc if you supply them , bit dumb not to have them done whilst engine is out

Please ignore the figure above. I'll get started on the piece of string's length and how long a cannon takes to cool down.
