I think with Newcastle we will either fold like we used to and city will beat us by alot or we will some how luck out a result (draw)

Shame that Tiote wont be playing for us today. He marked Fabregas and Rooney out of the games last year and we could do with him on Silva today as well :n:
Good news that Cabaye is back though. Hopefully Ben Arfa will start behind Ba in a 4-5-1. Cant see us getting anything here but it would be nice to sneak something and hope that the antics of fat Ashley off the pitch haven't affected the team.

I put him as my star man in my dream team for this week too :wall:
Oh well, a Newcastle win would be better than dream team points anyway!

gawd damn mario.
how strange is this -
Incredible story from Germany where the Bundesliga match between Cologne and Mainz was called off 40 minutes before kick-off after the referee tried to commit suicide. Babak Rafati was found in his hotel room less than two hours before the scheduled start time. The 41-year-old is in hospital and his condition is unknown.

I'm in a cunt of a mood today and watching this match isn't helping....we're losing 2-0 and the stream i'm watching keeps fucking skipping, it buffers like every 10 seconds and then occasionally catches up with itself by leaping like 2 minutes ahead.....dunno if i can even watch the 2nd half it's making me even angrier

Two goals, two mistakes from Ryan Taylor. Think that gives Pardew an excuse to bring on Santon.

RT to blame for the goals, everyone makes mistakes but surely no way back into this one now away from home. I wouldn't bring on Santon as it will just shatter RT's confidence

Tbh the scoreline hugely flatters City. We have had enough clear chances to have at least been level before the third goal. 2 pens and a mistake by R. Taylor have cost us.

Yep I didn't expect to get anything today tbh. The performance was good though. Not sure about Utd at Old Trafford next week a I think we could get something against Chelsea at home.

Exactly.
And to go there with no Tiote, Obertan, Marveaux and Best, 3 or 4 of your first team players and deserving a maybe a draw with two of their goals penalties. Just shows where we are in the table is no fluke.
Start of the season I would be happy with top 10. But now, top 7 is a very achievable target.

I would be thinking 'dream on' myelf usualy but the way both teams are playing I think we could get something. Just hope out heads haven't dropped after our first defeat yesterday.

To push for top 7 we really need to keep Cabaye and Tiote fit. Plus if he is going to continue playing R. Taylor a left back then Jonas needs to be playing to help him out. We would have been caught out so many times already if Jonas didn't work so hard tracking back.
