van insurance is generally a hell of alot cheaper then car insurance ;)

thats why lots of ppl are turning to vans, and thats why alot of younger drivers are getting vans to build up ncb

maybe age or a clamp down...or possibley the type of van

i always get vans insured for about £400-600 dependant on type (23yo)

Vans on commercial insurance which it has to be costs a fortune compared to a car..

It's only car derived vans like the corsa/clio's with no back seats and metal windows which seem cheap but are useless to nine out of ten trades.

actually yeah for business...i normally insure mine for sdp as usually not for business tbh

but for me on a recovery with 6 points for hire or reward it was like 1100 or so..

Well im 18 (1 years ncb) which might be why no one will quote me :n: However I live in a class A area code but it doesn't seem to help.

On my van i have to have no under 25 drivers, noone I spoke to would touch them. It was hard enough to insure myself and it's my van!!

Same with my dads vans and trucks I have to be a named driver on each of them where he has "over 25's" too :n:

Looks like I will have to forget about it until im over 25. :wall:

putting my dad on mine as a named driver normally halves my insurance..
