I took the saxo to the garage the other day about the knocking/creaking noise.
I picked it up and the mechanic said that the offside anti roll bar needs replaceing and so do the bushes on the lower suspension arm.
He said it would be cheaper on labour if i bought the Suspension are with the anti roll bar and bushes already fitted.
Can i go to a scrappy and get them second hand or do they have to be new? also any ideas of what prices i'll be looking at? Cheers

If you go the scrapyard the parts will be in just a bad condition if not worse.Plus it`s cheaper in the long run to buy a complete wishbone with the bushes already pressed in.

so i can just phone any parts supplier and ask for a wishbone with the bushes already pressed in? obviously telling them what car i need them for.
And while im doing one side would it be silly not to do the other side?

pm'd mate, also have leak whenever it rains, the water drips from just behind the interior light, and (looks like water around the bulb)
Could the water be getting in from under the aerial or just the sunroof?
waiting for my bee sting aerial to arrive is that just unscrew the old and in with the new?

When your new bee sting arrives take out the interior light unbolt the aerial base. Then put some silicone sealone around the base & do the bolt back up.The bee sting itself you just unscrew the aerial whip & screw the new one in.

it can come through the ariel but more likely the sunroof thats leaking, and yeah to take the ariel off you just pop the interior light out and undo the bolt :y:
