I wanted to go to Rammstein in the upcoming gigs, but ticket prices were ridiculous.

Enjoyed seeing Feeder live too, especially when they fuck off most of the ballady songs and play their bouncy anthems.

Lamb of God were one of the worst I have ever seen, they want to shoot their sound man as he hasnt a clue how to make them sound decent. Couldnt tell what they were playing half the time.

That's because Lamb of God are a bit shit... Well, mainly the vocals!

I paid £50 for my Rammstein tickets. Seems to be the going rate for gigs these days. It's the same price that the Def Leppard/Motley Crue and Steel Panther gig is/was

I do like the old LoG, they were giving it their all in the gig, but the sound was so mudded loads of people left about halfway through.

£50 a ticket :( Booking fee boils my piss enough without mental ticket prices.

Now that I come to think of it, Oasis at Loch Lomond was the worst gig Ive been to. Luckily, the park is two mins from my house, and we jumped the security fences to have a bevvy and watch them. Stand-around-do-fuckall-unimpressive-show fuckers.

I hate you for seeing Slipknot :(

System of a Down were shit live. No crowd interaction. Not at all engaging and the sound was terrible.

Justice... back when i was 18 and they weren't very big... they still did the whole intro with the room going completly dark then the big cross lighting up, the energy of their performance was fantastic, it was pretty small too so you could see them up close, xavier (spelling?) was pouring whisky out of the bottle into peoples mouths that were in front line of the crowd - fantastic night :y:

crystal castles were really good live too, i've heard they're terrible at festivals but alice glass walked out wearing next to nothing with a strobe light round her neck (which was the only lights on other than the ones at the bar) and she must've been drunk or on something, she was all over the place on stage, the guy who does all the 8bit stuff with the laptop had to keep following her around untangling the microphone wire from her legs, she really went for it on stage though and it gave a really good stage show, it was really good to watch, plus 40 minutes of nothing but strobes was wicked too

Agree on reel big fish, also lost prophets!

Saw the Lostprophets when they were a teeny tiny band in a pub in wolverhampton.
One of the best i've seen were Biffy Clyro in 2005 though, played for 2 hours straight and all the good songs. For hilarity, Horse the band were pretty funny in Birmingham absolutely fucked on who knows what.

What did you think of the new justice album? I found it mostly a load of ball scrapings compared to the previous one. Also Alice glass is a pure crackhead but I probably still would

the new justice album is complete wank, each track just gets worse as the album goes on, the entire of ed bangor was a lot better a few years ago though... justice have completly sold out, all their old heavy distorted basslines have been replaced by more upbeat ones and overlayed by shit singers, busy p has gone shit trying to do the same, mehdi died, uffie was never good anyway. the only artist from ed bangor still worth listening to is kavinsky, but since hes stuck in the 80s his music will never change haha
