Stupid question, but how the f%&k do you get these off?

Twice I've tried and twice I've snapped them, resulting in a shitty super glue job to stick the casings back together. At the moment I'm putting a screw driver to prise them out, but it always cracks the casing.

Is there a certain way?

EDIT: Balls, wrong section. Meant to put it in the 'Problems & Queries' sorry!

normally, they clip on, and are easy to unclip. Had a similar problem once, it would fall off every time I'd shut my boot. I changed the bulbs for peace of mind and sealed them shut with silicone glue so no moisture would get inside.

Safe way: grab them from the sides with thumb and index, pull towards you and it should come off.

yeah i think they need to be squeezed on the sides to push the clips in, 99% of the time you will snap the clips

77% of statistics are made up on the spot

That's because plastics do age and tend to get more fragile as eyars go on. Will break every time if you try to pop it out with a screw driver, definitely never do it that way. One of the clips was broken on mine hence why I didn't bother and glued it back on. Probably cost near sod all from citroens and half a penny from the scrappy.
