The garage should of been able to get them off mate, A chizel (sp) and a large hammer will be fine

couple of ways to get them off, you can use a threaded impact socket threadid the opposit way so as you tightin it loosins
other way is bray a sockit on that is just smaller than locking nut
and as stated the chisel

Well done to everybody posting this kind of information on a public forum. I'd suggest you ALL see if you still have your wheels on. Haha! :zainy:
Any garage should have been able to remove them unless the bolt is rounded too much. But there's always a way.

Go somewhere else...? If they don't want the business then sod them.
Edit:- A reason why some garages say no is that the bolt is too hard to get to (sunk into the wheel). But even in your case, it's literally flush with the rim. No excuse in my opinion. But... there's also the possibility they don't want to get themselves into trouble because if they did manage to remove it and damaged the wheel/hub then you'd want them to sort it.

thats the one, small socket smaller than the sticky out bit of the lockign wheel nut hammer it on, it wont go on easy but hammer it right on, use ratchet/breaker bar to undo. Job done.
Getting the socket back off the locker is fun to:P

what a crap garage kept me waitin 2 weeks then just stop once a tiny hurdle appears. they said something like we usually put another socket over it but because of the kind of lockin wheel nut we wouldnt be able to.

I think i used a 12mm socket, rattled it over the end, undo it. Spend about 20 mins bashing the socket back off of the nut, quick file of the locking wheel nut so it fits the key again and job was a good un

not bad scott :Y:
see i woulda done it all myself but its just i needed the new track rod end etc so even if i did get it off i'd have to stick it back on to get the car to the garage

lol yes it's fun getting socket back off, the best way I found was stick socket in vice, take screw driver and bray it from opposit side worked a treat, if no vice availible use some thing that is big anough for bolt to go thro but not the socket
