Is there any difference between the westcoast and the vtr rear axle?
Is it just a simple change over with bleeding the breaks etc?
Thanks
Ian

Drum axle is also 30mm narrower iirc doesn't make any difference really other than your rear wheels will sit in slightly further than before

I went out and got a vtr axle for £70 with disc breaks. What do I need to change when fitting it?

Check the brake pipes as i think they might be slightly different, handbrake cables are different, you'll need to bleed brakes if your changing it yourself

I think thats about it mate, although if money allows id consider replacing the mounting bushes and also changing the rear brakes as i wouldn't trust a part worn set that i know nothing about (personal preference)

Thanks mate, I would probz change all the bushes etc but I might get a drum break axle just for the mot till get it over and done with. Decisions decisions :panic:
