Yates

Ok, so im not really a big christmas person, im not bah humbug, i buy presents and enjoy it, but i really cant be arsed with all the hype, all the commercial bullshit or buying a tree!
Now im a single lad, got my own place, my mate lives with me and is the same as me, just sees it as anothber day.
So i wasnt going to bother with a christmas tree, some people have said i have to buy a tree, others have said i do right, so thought id let you decide!
Give your reasons, why i should, or if you are on my side!
oh and ive never posted a poll before, so if it doesnt work first time, i couldnt give a shit. thanks!

Fucking hell, I tried one of them recently - hadnt heard of them before - and was like "seriously? 5 chicken breasts battered together with a block of cheese over it?"

Buy one and don't be such a scrooge!
Even if you get a fake one, we picked up a 5ft tree last year at tescos for £5 pounds or something silly was about £10 by the time we got lights and decorations etc.
You will feel warm and fuzzy inside once its up and you will find yourself sat on your sofa staring at it and thinking....'I'm glad I bought that'

I wasn't being serious with that comment, it was just to encourage you to buy a tree  I think you should get one, they make a room interesting and different as usually living rooms etc don't change and get boring if you get me?

I'm the same as you, Single as fuck with my own place and don't see the point. However, You have two options.
1: Dont bother with the hype and the untidyness.
2: Do the man thing and buy a big off real tree that that fills half the room.
Personally i'm not bothering, I'll just enjoy the decoration's in my family home. After all, Im not going be spending much of crimbo on my own at my place anyway.

Was in Redcar. Aye it was quite good, but it was about midnight, I was past the hunger stage and trying to eat that much with (prob no exaggeration) a block of cheese grated over it was heavy duty. Came with chips too.

Standard mate. Chips, salad, garlic sauce, jobs a good'un. I don't know of any decent places in Redcar like, best places are in Boro centre or Eston...
@RobVT if he sees this, go to Roosters in Normanby, just carry on straight through Eston and head towards Normanby, it's just before the cross roads at the pub, parmos there are unreal.

No, the rest transforms it from an ordinary chicken breast in breadcrumbs, to something so utterly beautiful and tasty it takes the human mind and taste buds to their absolute pinnacle.
slight exaggeration, only slight.

It was only a few years ago that I found out a mince pie at christmas is not the same as a mince pie the rest of the year... McDonalds did mince and custard dessert things a few years back, I thought it was odd, but I thought beef and custard, why the fuck not. To my horror, it was fucking fruity flavoured and sweet. I've not quite lived down the rants I had about it and the humiliation that followed. That was when I found out mince and mince (minced beef) are two very different things, and santa does not eat mince gravy and onion pies :(
