Can anyone explain why it's £200 cheaper to start a quote in the middle of December than it is at the end of this month?

Sometimes it's cheaper to get a quote for further away. like i get a quote for next week and it's a fair bit..i get a quote for the same date but in the next month and i save nearyl £400

Because lots of people leave their insurance until it's about to run out..therefore if companies make it more expensive if you give them less notice then they make more monies
