Has anybody found the mk1 mortars fit awfully on the car or am I missing something? They seem really loose. I got them from a member on here and there spot on Nothing broken or anything. I'd be mortified if I paid the £500 they were new for them the way there built and fit.

Yeah my grill stops alot of it but one side you can pull the indicator out and shake the light.

When theyre new they fit perfectly well. They tend to have clis and locating dowels missing on the upper and lower edges when you buy second hand.
Mine fit perfectly and are very secure........

There's nothing broke on mine. Everything's there the holes for the indicators, all the screws are in and the ball pins that connect the lights to the grill. As for those White brackets I just twisted them 90 degreese out of the way.

Mine fitted perfectly when I owned a set, you do have to make sure that you've got the bracket that holds them tightly to the slam panel aswel else they will wiggle a bit if you're relying on the top bolts alone to do the work.
The bottom brackets rarely seem to be there on 2nd hand sets, possibly if they original owner didn't have a clue what they were for and never bothered fitting them themselves.
I bought mine new and with everything there they're spot on.

Any pics of what these brackets look like mate. Mine doesn't have any but there isn't anything snapped off or missing.

Sam beat me to it. If yours are missing they're very simple to knock up a pair, makes all the difference.
