Going on holiday next year.....I know its a long time away but really need to get into shape and lose the beer belly.....its not bothered me before as its not that bad and Im not a conscious person about my body.....But can anyone advise a good routine I could do at home as money is a bit tight at moment...Any good techniques to lose those love handles and piss tank....I often tell the ladies "Its not a beergut its a fuel tank for a love machine":P

Thanks in advance

Get out on a bike and ride every day

a good ride every day will lose weight as you wont be used to doing cardio by the sounds of it so your body should notice

and dont just go for a relaxing bike ride, go for 10 miles and really hammer it and come back dripping wet with sweat, maybe send me some pics of that, then you will of had a good work out

im skinny as a rake and 6ft2 mainly because when i was little i did aggressive street skating im not saying take this up but if you do moderate energy skating you can burn like 300 cals in half hour and its easy if you fancy it let me know ill tell you which skates to buy i may be skinny but i can eat what i like and im still fit as a fiddle!

Running and cycling make you lose the beer belly, but in general making yourself exhausted by exercise will make you lose some weight. Stretch well before doing anything too strenuous and take out some water with you to re-hydrate. You will be sweating your tits off in no time

couple of pointers:

- train in the morning as you have more energy and continue to burn calories throughout the day
- try to eat as little as you can before you train as this causes your body to use its fat reserves as food coz your stomach is near empty.
- reduce caloric intake
- do any exercise that elevates heart rate
