Hello

I am getting a raceland mani and Janspeed system delivered today

I am happy fitting the system but am going to take the mani to a garage as I would rather they sort it out should something go wrong.

I have ordered a new set of bolts from Citroen to bolt the mani to the head....will I need them? What sort of bolts are they?

I could fit the mani mysely but I am worried about snapping/shearing bolts and then not having the tools or knowledge to drill them out lol

I have also ordered a new fitting kit for the bit that connects the downpipe to the decat.

Cheers

If the bolts haven't been removed before (or for a long time) I usually change them. If you start undoing the nut you'll find the stud comes with it anyway. So order studs, bolts and washer (10 of each). You wont shear anything, but Halfords do an awesome little Tap and Die set which has saved my bacon on numerous occasions, highly recommend one when dealing with a 10 y/o french tin can. I did once, round a mani/head nut. They're made of a malleable copper so I just took a chisel to it and boshed it off that way. Honestly you'll be fine, but it pays to do you research and have contingency plans if things go for the worse.
