Hi My Name Is Mark :) Am 23 and a live in Durham in the North East ov England.

Below Is a Picture ov my 2001 Saxo VTR In Gold.
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/FrostyVTR/98173913.jpg

It Has 77k on the Clock N Am The Fourth Owner From New and apart from a few minor details the bodywork is excellent n the engine and drivetrain is excellent pulls like a train :D and no nasty noises from suspension or driveshafts has to be 1 ov the best Saxos av seen/driven, the best bit is it completely standard :)

This is the first Saxo av owned but av bein interested in owning 1 for a gd few years now originally wanted a VTS. But must say ad stick wit the 8v all day long when it comes to mods no 16v conversions dont want the problems n hassle :).

what a dont get is it a early 2000 but if the rocker cover is correct it got the silvertop 100bhp engine not the blacktop 90bhp engine n the engine codes match on the logbook to the engine

That is a very tidy looking Sax! I like how you want to keep it standard as you don't want it to become unreliable!

Plans:

Good clean, k&n panel filter, supersprint full race system wit decat, maybe a 4-2-1 manifold n if a get bored maybe a cam sticking wit 8v unless the engine dies then maybe a 16v lump.

Drivetrain n suspension wise maybe lowered maximum 40mm ne daft 100mm lol refurbed vtr alloys n sum decent tyres.

Pretty much same idea's as me mate, other than Cam's, lol! Want it lowered 35mm or 40mm front and back, and re spray alloys black!

Sounds like a plan mate!

ye the vts's are unreal all depends how fit the vts is n how fit the vtr is engine n drivetrain wise :) a well modded vtr should keep up wit a vts to a certain speed it top end the vts is better on n they perform better in the higher gears were the vtr's are slower in 4th n 5th a should know coz av driven both i only went for the vtr coz there better on fuel n insurance.
(but i can insure a vtr wit a vts engine in for cheaper than a standard vts :D)
